Canvey Island

The Canvey facility is located within OIKOS Oil Storage and is 5 minutes drive from  the A13.  The site offers a wide range of options for bulk liquid processing of oil contaminated waters, sludge’s and solids.

Emphasis is on oil recovery and solid stabilisation with the following technologies being available to maximise yields: -
• 3 phase decanter and stacking disc centrifuges
• Ultrafiltration
• Aerobic Biological treatment
• Carbon adsorption
• Biocatalyst treatment

Waste can be received in tankers, skips and also storage in up to 6,000 tonne  tanks is available.  Jetty access  for up to 30,000 tonne tankers

Directions

Coming from London on the M25 take Junction 30, the A13, in the Tilbury, Southend direction for 15 miles.  Then the A130 towards Canvey Island.

Along Canvey Way, single lane for about 3 miles you will then come to a large roundabout.  Take the third exit signposted "IND.AREAS, SEA FRONT, A130".

Follow these directions over the next roundabout taking the first exit.  After half a mile you come to a smaller roundabout and take the first exit signed "SEA FRONT, A130".

In about 0.4miles turn right at the traffic lights into Haven Road (opposite the King Canute Public House).  The entrance to Oikos Storage is half a mile down Haven Road on the left.
