Gwent Waste Management Centre is a PPC facility providing a fully licensed purpose designed waste transfer station for processing hazardous and non-hazardous waste and has a treatment process that consists of seven 500 tonne capacity main reception tanks.
Waste types accepted include:-

- Inorganic and organic alkali
- Cyanide
- Oil/water mixtures and emulsions
- Pharmaceutical waste
- Heavy metal contaminated waste
- Spray booth, paint waste and solvents
- Interceptor waste
- Food processing waste

Directions
Eastbound
Leave the M4 at junction 28, at the roundabout take the A48 towards Newport. At the next roundabout take the second left the A4042. Continue along the A4042 for 3 roundabouts. When approaching the new suspension bridge move into the left hand lane to pass over the bridge. Signal left halfway over the bridge and move into the slip lane, at the traffic lights select the lane to turn right. You are now on Corporation Road, proceed through 2 sets of traffic lights and under a railway bridge, Gwent WMC is on the right hand side about 300 metres ahead. Park in the car park and report to the Weighbridge.
Westbound
Leave the M4 at junction 25, at the roundabout take the first left the A455 towards LLanwern. Continue on the A455 for 6 roundabouts, passing a school and Tesco Supermarket on your left. When approaching a railway bridge select the left hand land at the traffic lights. Turn left you are now on Corporation Road pass under a railway bridge, Gwent WMC is on the right hand side about 300 metres ahead. Park in the car park and report to the weighbridge.
